"The Fall Classic and Festival is a laid back, family-friendly, and dog-friendly event that gathers the local community for an autumn get-together,” said Elly VandeMerkt, Devon Fall Classic Organizer. “Families can bring their kids during the day to enjoy the midway rides, peruse shops, and watch the equestrian events. At night, parents may want to consider getting a babysitter and coming back to enjoy a cold beer or glass of wine, and some live music by local and regional bands."
The Fall Classic events begin each day at 8 a.m. with the equestrian competitions. In between the jumpers, the Fall Festival will provide a taste of autumn featuring a selection of kid-friendly food, boutique shops and carnival games, which opens everyday at 10 a.m., according to organizers.

At 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, just in time for happy hour, several entertaining live bands will perform in the beer garden, located at the Picnic Grove, according to the show.
Many of the iconic Devon boxes in the Main Grandstand are still available for the four day event. The reserved boxes offer a unique experience and spectacular views of the show grounds, organizers said.
Devon boxes also provide an intimate, traditional setting where box holders can BYOB (Bring Your Own Basket) full of delicious food, and buy a bottle of wine and cheese platter in the Picnic Grove for a private picnic.
The cost of a box with six seats is $300 for the entire show, the press release states.
