The day and week before September 19, 2013, many offices and businesses pooled money to play the Powerball Lottery to potentially win the $400 million dollar jackpot. Folks at Eadeh Enterprises were no exception! Eight co-workers each put in $2.00 and that $16.00 bought 8 tickets and millions of dreams!!
The day after the drawing, the Eadeh employees found out that THEY HAD HIT THE POWERBALL!!! Of course, none of the other numbers matched except the actual powerball number but they had a cash winning ticket of $4.00 and that’s a big 50 cents per participant. When asked how they felt about their winnings, everyone agreed that “everyone’s read that winning a lottery changes your life….we all feel pretty confident that this won’t.” Another commented, “Yeah, it was great to win, but I’m going to keep working.”
