Easttown Closing For 2 Weeks, Vital Services Still Offered
Emergency and vital public services, such as trash and recycling, will not be affected by the two-week closure, officials said Friday.
EASTTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Easttown Township said it is closing and ceasing operations for the next two weeks due to the local outbreak of the new coronavirus, known as COVID-19.
The township Friday said that the township and its operations will close to the public and all Township meetings have been cancelled.
Despite the closure, emergency services and vital public services such as trash and recycling collections will not be affected.

During this time, the township will be working with minimal staff for the next two weeks.
Any changes to the current status will be made as necessary, officials said.

"We understand these are difficult and challenging times," the township said. "This will require cooperation and flexibility and everyone has a role to play."
