Easttown Township intends to create a Stormwater Management Advisory Committee (SMAC) and seeks volunteers for five (5) new openings. As a new advisory group, the SMAC is proposed to advise the Board of Supervisors on stormwater management matters. This includes, but is not limited to: infrastructure mapping; debt and bond obligation; engineering improvements; forecasting future impacts; code amendments; and education. Interested candidates must be residents of the Township and have the availability to attend one (1) evening (to be determined) each month for regular business meetings. Residents who possess the following skills are encouraged to apply: accounting, finance, banking, engineering, hydrology, meteorology, geology, landscape architecture, architecture, environmental science, political science, and law. The terms of these five (5) new openings expire as follows: one (1) term to expire on December 31, 2022; two (2) terms to expire on December 31, 2023; and two (2) terms to expire on December 31, 2024.
