URGENT- Time to Act for Penna. Birds & Wildlife!
House Bill 1576 will enable a commission of political appointees who have NO scientific or wildlife conservation expertise to overrule PA state wildlife agencies’ decisions about which species are declared endangered or threatened. This destructive bill will take decision-making about PA endangered and threatened species out of the hands of wildlife experts and give it to political appointees, and will threaten PA wildlife for decades to come. Note HB 1576 is strongly supported by gas and oil companies.
