Jazz Guitarist Dave Manley and his trio

TMW’s Performance Annex welcomes TMW faculty member guitarist Dave Manley and his trio Indigenous. Performing a mix of original material, jazz standards and re-harmonizations of popular music all within the tradition of Cuban and Flamenco styles. The trios command of their instrument is nothing short of impressive. Dave is owner of the independent record label Deep PM Records, Dave released his own recording, “Sing, Sing” in 1998 to which he received acclaimed reviews. Dave has toured extensively throughout the United States with multi platinum selling Def Soul recording artist Musiq and gold selling Sony artist Vivian Green. Dave has also recorded with Jazz/Pop icon Herbie Hancock. In June of 2004 he joined Grammy award winner Jill Scott’s band. Since then he has toured the U.S. and Europe, made numerous television appearances and performed at the Wachovia Center opening for pop icon Prince.
