Spring Concert Series: Classical

Enjoy the final concert of the spring series with the sounds of a classical string trio. Erin Barnes (cello), Heather Wright (viola and was one of the players last time) and Angela Sulzer (violin) are all professional performers and instructor at The Music Workshop in Berwyn.

Erin Barnes earned a bachelor degree in Cello Performance with a minor in Early Childhood Development from Temple University as well as studies toward completing her masters in Cello Performance. Erin’s musical journey started at the age of two on violin and cello at the age of 5. Erin has performed and or recorded with area symphony orchestras as well as members of the Philadelphia Orchestra. She is a certified Orff and Suzuki instructor and has been teaching for over ten years.

Heather Wright has had the rare opportunity to perform at the Kimmel Center, Carnegie Hall and at Lincoln Center in New York City. She enjoys performing locally with the Southeastern Pennsylvania Symphony, the Chester County Pops and the Immaculata Symphony. Heather also enjoys performing in smaller ensembles at weddings and events, and playing in a string quartet for local singer/songwriter Andrew Lipke. She has been teaching for the past three years.

Angela Sulzer began her studies at the age of 10 and as a teenager, won national music awards and toured Italy, soloing with her High School Orchestra. Angie studied violin performance at Temple University’s Boyer College of Music.
