A cookie exchange party or cookie swap is a way for all of us to enjoy dozens of different vegan holiday cookies, but only have to bake one kind.

How It Works:

You choose one kind of vegan cookie to bake, and bake enough so that each guest can take home 1 dozen of your cookies. You may also decide to bring a favorite vegan candy/treat you make such as chocolate covered pretzels or peanut butter cups, for example.

We are having two separate groups to allow more people to participate. The two groups are the Delish Group and the Yummy Group. There will be 12 people in each group and we want each one to be able to sample the cookies at the party. That means you will need to bake 144 cookies. Please package your cookies in individual containers of 12 each. And of course, we all want your recipe! Please make 12 copies of your recipe, and bring it to the party.

Finally, and this is important. When you RSVP, please indicate what kind of cookies you plan to bake. That way, we can be sure to have variety, although we will be able to have some duplicates. If you want to make a certain type that is already listed, you can simply be part of the other group of 12 people.

Additional thoughts/suggestions:

  • Make labels for the cookies. This is a practical extra that identifies everything on the table and can inform guests who contributed which cookie.
  • Take turns with everyone introducing themselves and their cookies and any story that might accompany the cookie

We hope to see you there!
