Former Conestoga Aide Sentenced For Sex With 16-Year-Old Student: Report
Paraeducator Christine Towers was charged in April with three felonies after allegedly having sex with a student.
A former aide at Conestoga High School who was charged in April with child sex crimes was recently sentenced to serve prison time, according to Philly.com.
Christine Towers, 28, of Phoenixville, was sentenced Monday to to 11 to 23 months in prison, five years probation after her release, and sex offender status, the outlet reports.
Towers was charged in April with three counts of felony sexual contact with a student, corruption of minors, and endangering the welfare of a child.

She resigned from her position at Conestoga High School just days before charges were filed.
Towers served as the girls soccer and track coach at Tredyffrin/Easttown Middle School for two years, the district said.

During the 2015-2016 school year, she coached JV girls soccer, 9th grade girls basketball, and JV girls softball at Conestoga High School, according to the district.
While the school initially said they were unsure if the student in question was an athlete or one of Towers students, Philly.com reports the student was one she was tutoring privately.
