Help Stop $peed Trap Bill SB 251

To All Driver$:

This is an election year. Do you want to be caught in $peed trap$ everywhere you drive in Penn$ylvania?

$peed Trap Bill SB 251, arming municipal police with RADAR gun$, makes that possible.

The only reason for RADAR is to make $peed trap$ plentiful and easy to stage. For the money.

Roads can be made safer for free with best-practices highway engineering. But that’s not sexy or profitable, so there is no special interest group advocating for that.

Only those who profit from RADAR are pushing Speed Trap Bill SB 251. “Highway Safety” is the first thing on their lip$ but the last thing on their mind$.

Traffic ticket$ are a multi-billion industry. They have virtually nothing to do with highway safety, but they have everything to do with money.

When you begin to grasp the full magnitude of the public and private interest$ that depend on ripping off motorists through traffic ticket$, you begin to understand why this unethical system continues to expand every year.

Are your Senator and Representative going to expand this unethical system in Penn$ylvania with $peed Trap Bill SB 251? This election year?

Tell your Senator and Representative to kill Speed Trap Bill SB 251. Tell them to represent YOUR wishes, not the special interests’ wishe$. Especially this year. Thank you.
