Dozens of janitors from companies around the Philadelphia region gathered in front of Vanguard’s offices in Malvern to protest unfair wages, according to a report.
The employees, who staff over 150 office buildings in the Philadelphia area, said they wanted a wage that would allow them to give their children the Christmas they deserve, the report states.
The members of the 32BJ Service Employees International Union reportedly want their wages raised from $12.35 an hour to $15 an hour.
