Median shoulder excavation and paving will reduce traffic from two lanes to one in both directions.
The east closure will take place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., while the westbound closure will take place from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., PennDOT said.

The construction is part of the ongoing $97.4 million project to improve travel throughout 422.
Construction began in February 2016 and is scheduled to finish in May 2020.
