Paoli Gas Station Card Skimmer Suspects Caught, Owner Says

Police staked out the station to find the suspects before they could obtain customer data, owner says.

Customers of the Paoli Lukoil station that was reported to have a credit card skimmer on a pump can rest a bit easier, as the station's owner said Tredyffrin Township Police caught the suspects before they could retrieve the skimmer containing customer information.

The owner said the pump was have trouble reading credit cards which led to a station worked checking the pump and discovering the device.

The owner went on to say police later staked out the station and saw suspects at the affected pump and caught them.

The owner said he will be installing new locks and door seals on the pumps and is in the process of upgrading the station's camera system.

Patch reached out to Tredyffrin Police to confirm the arrests and will update the story when more information is available.
