Parents, Community Stand In Support Of Conestoga Coaches: Reports
The audience cheered when one attendee said that the District Attorney's office had sensationalized the alleged sodomy and hazing incident.

TREDYFFRIN, PA -- A crowd of 150 parents and community members packed into the Conestoga High School auditorium at a meeting on Monday to show their support for the football coaching staff that resigned and were fired in the midst of the hazing controversy in early March.
The Tredyffrin/Easttown School District held the meeting to address community concerns in the wake of allegations that three football players held down a freshman and sodomized him with a broom handle, reports state.
However, there seemed to be much more concern over the treatment of the coaches that were let go than the hazing incident itself, according to reports.

The student was reportedly expelled from the school before the allegations came to light. That happened when he told his father, who reported the incident. Investigators began looking into the incident in mid-February.
Some parents expressed support for the district, but most seemed to believe the incident was either highly exaggerated or a "hoax," NBC 10 reports.
The school district published a letter on March 17 announcing that their internal investigation showed a lack of supervision, echoing statements made by Hogan when the charges against the three teens were first announced.
The district reportedly said they would take the opinions and concerns of residents into consideration.
