PECO Discussing Tree Removal With Concerned Easttown Residents
PECO, state, and local officials will meet with residents Thursday night in Berwyn to hear concerns about tree removal for a PECO project.

EASTTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA – PECO, local, and state officials will discuss tree removal in and around Easttown Township with concerned residents as PECO plans to make improvements to its power grid in the area.
A special meeting will be held from 6:45 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. at the Easttown Library on Thursday, Oct. 25, during which residents can voice concerns over PECO's "enhanced vegetation removal" needed for the project.
State Rep. Duane Milne, the Easttown Township Board of Supervisors, and PECO will be on hand to discuss the project with the community.

PECO also is willing to meet with any property owner about any prospective vegetation removal on their property.
PECO is planning significant capital improvements in its power grid in and around Easttown Township in 2019. The improvements necessitate "enhanced vegetation removal" around the power lines to support the upgraded infrastructure. That removal will likely start in November and continue into 2019.

The purpose of the meeting is for PECO to review the general activity of the project and the vegetation removal. Specifics of a particular property are best addressed with PECO on a site specific and case by case basis.
