TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – Tredyffrin Township Police issued their most recent crime report on Friday, May 11.
The new report covers police incidents in the township that occurred between April 26 and May 4.
Notable incidents include a resisting arrest charge at a Devon bank, two thefts from vehicles in one day, and disorderly conduct.

April 26, Lifetime Athletics in Wayne – Two different lockers had personal items stolen from them, including cash and a watch. The case is under investigation.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
April 28, Route 202 – A driver reported that occupants of a passing vehicle were making obscene gestures to passing motorists. Two juvenile males and a 20-year-old male were issued citations for disorderly conduct.
RESISTING ARREST
May 1, TD Bank in Devon – Anthony Vaccaro, 30, of Devon, was charged with resisting arrest and other offenses after he caused a disturbance in the bank.
THEFT FROM AUTO
May 2, Devon Fitness parking lot – The victim reported their wallet stolen from their vehicle while parked in the lot. The wallet contained ID, cash and credit cards. The case is under investigation.
THEFT FROM AUTO
May 2, Wilson Farm Park – The victim reported their car window smashed and a bag containing a laptop and clothing was stolen from the vehicle. The value of the contents was $1,125.00.
RETAIL THEFT
May 4, PA Wine & Spirits Store in Devon Village Shoppes – Officers were dispatched to the report of a retail theft. The actor left the scene, but officers later identified him exiting another store and subsequently charged Noel Rivera, 37, of Philadelphia, with the following crimes: retail theft; theft by unlawful taking; Receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The following individuals were arrested for driving under the influence. The lab results and/or chemical breath testing have been officially verified and determined to be unfit to operate a motor vehicle safely on the roadway
- Francis Buendia, 29, of Devon, - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was .133 percent
- Andrew Darby, 32, of Wayne – BAC was .195 percent
- Sean Rodden, 32, of Downingtown – BAC was .195 percent
- James West, 46, of Paoli – BAC was .201 percent
