Threats, Assault, Thefts, More Mark Tredyffrin Police Blotter

Police said a shopper at the Wayne Whole Foods Market had a wallet stolen from their purse while shopping. See the full report details here.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – Tredyffrin Township Police released their latest crime report on Wednesday, highlighting police activity over the last few weeks.

The new report covers incidents that occurred between May 26 and June 16.

THEFT ARREST

May 26, 1700 block of Jennings Way in Paoli – The victim reported several pieces of jewelry had gone missing over the last few months. After an investigation was conducted, officers identified the actor, who was the house cleaner. Regina Collins, 37, of Norristown, was subsequently charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

June 1, 1400 block of Valley Forge Road in Wayne – The victim reported items which included loose change, charger, radio adapter and cigarettes stolen from their unlocked vehicle.

PICKPOCKET – WALLET THEFT

June 5, Whole Foods store in Wayne – The victim reported their wallet stolen from their purse while shopping in the store. The wallet included credit cards which were fraudulently used at Rite Aid, Micro Center and Best Buy. The case is under investigation.

Police warn residents not to leave their purses or wallets in carts while shopping and never turn your back on them. It only takes seconds for a thief to steal it while their partner strikes up a “friendly” conversation with you about food products.

POSSESSION

June 9, Russell Road in Paoli – During a traffic stop, police charged Michael Peays, 26, of Paoli, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.

PICKPOCKET

6/11/18 – Panera Bread in Gateway Shopping Center. The victim reported their credit cards stolen from their purse while dining in the restaurant. The cards were fraudulently used at Target and attempted at Game Stop. The care is under investigation.

ASSAULT

June 11, Old Forge Crossing in Devon – Police charged Anthony Vaccaro, 31, of Devon, with the following crimes after a domestic dispute: simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct.

POSSESSION

June 13, Home Properties of Devon – Police charged Brian Hernandez, 22, of Brooklyn, New York with possession of a small amount of marijuana, paraphernalia, and resisting arrest.

SHOPLIFTING

June 14, Paoli Acme store – Police charged Kevin Whaley-Blake, 18, Natalie Rossi, 20, both of Malvern, and Brittany Yates, 20, of Devon, with retail theft and underage drinking after they fled the store without paying for items.

TERRORISTIC THREATS

June 14, Keystone Avenue in Paoli – Police charged Ferdinand Ramos, 36, of Philadelphia, with terroristic threats and harassment after making alarming and threatening comments to the victim via phone and text.

ASSAULT

June 16, Fernfield Circle in Wayne – Benjamin Anthony, 18, of Wayne, was charged with simple assault and harassment following a domestic dispute.

The following individuals were arrested for driving under the influence. The lab results and/or chemical breath testing have been officially verified and determined to be unfit to operate a motor vehicle safely on the roadway.

  • Ryan Budinger, 28, of Birchrunville, PA - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was .142 percent
  • Robert Pope, 59, of Audubon, PA – BAC was .140 percent
  • Ryan Shaughnessy, 29, of Norristown, PA – BAC was .163 percent
