Tredyffrin Hiring Clerk For Public Works Department

BERYWN, PA – The Tredyffrin Township government is looking to bring on a new member of its administrative team as it is seeking a well-qualified person to take over duties as the public works services clerk. Those who are interested should apply by June 23.
Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED; a minimum of two years related experience; the ability to engage with the public in professional manner; effective communication skills; and a strong working knowledge of MS Office software.
The clerk assists the public works director and foremen with correspondence, reports, purchase order processing. The job also entails document management; taking citizen phone calls and complaints; communicating with dispatch personal and relays messages via two-way radio; preps time sheets for payroll; tracks employee daily work details; administers leaf permitting, load slips, and feel collection for contractor drop off; and more.

The job requires being available for emergency work due to snow or other emergencies.
Salary is dependent on qualifications and benefits are available.
