Tredyffrin Police Blotter: Thefts, Possession, Public Drunkenness

Police said seven total commercial air conditioning units were stolen from two area businesses. See more details and the full blotter here.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – Tredyffrin Township Police released their most recent crime blotter on Wednesday.

The blotter covers police incidents that occurred between July 5 and July 20.

Police handled several drug possession incidents, launched investigations into seven stolen commercial air conditioning units, and reported several thefts, among other incidents.

POSSESSION
July 5, Route 202 – During a traffic stop, officers charged Jayron Perry, 24, of Coatesville, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.

WALLET THEFTS
July 6 and July, Trader Joe’s in Gateway Shopping Center – The victims reported their wallets stolen while shopping in the store. The cases are under investigation.

Police urge residents not to leave their purses or wallets unattended in carts for any length of time. Also, be aware of strangers striking up a random conversation with you as they might be distracting you while another steals your wallet.

THEFT
July 10, Johnson Matthey in Wayne – Two commercial sized air conditioning units were stolen from the property during the overnight hours. The case is under investigation.

THEFT
July 10, 600 block of East Swedesford Road in Wayne – Construction materials were reported stolen from the job site. The materials were valued at $27,500. The case is under investigation.

THEFT FROM AUTO
July 11, Lifetime Athletics – At least two vehicles had belongings stolen from them, one of which had a window smashed out. Stolen credit cards were later used at a Target store. The case is under investigation.

RETAIL THEFT
July 13, Paoli Wawa – The employee reported a subject had concealed approximately $8 in merchandise. When confronted, the actor argued with and threatened the employee. Upon contact with the actor, officers discovered a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia. The actor – Brandon Gadson, 32, of Philadelphia – was charged with the following crimes: terroristic threats; defiant trespassing; retail theft; possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.

POSSESSION
July 14, Grey Court in Berwyn – Sean Donahue, 26, of Newtown Square, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia after officers observed him sleeping in the vehicle.

THEFT
July 17, Clinical & Lab Standards Institute in Wayne – Five commercial sized air conditioning units were stolen from the property. It is unknown when the theft occurred. The case is under investigation.

POSSESSION
July 17, Route 202 – During a traffic stop, officer charged Peter Khamisi, 29, of Collegeville, with possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.

POSSESSION
July 18, Potter Lane in Wayne – During a traffic stop, Peter Elliott, 19, of Malvern, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia; and disorderly conduct.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS
July 18, Paoli Acme parking lot – Officers observed a male asleep while sitting in the parking lot. The male – a 31 year old from Philadelphia – was charged with public drunkenness.

CHECK THEFT
July 20, Cellular One in Wayne – An employee reported the theft of a business check that was sent for cell tower rental fees. The check was cashed in Georgia by actor(s) unknown.

The following individuals were arrested for driving under the influence. The lab results and/or chemical breath testing have been officially verified and determined to be unfit to operate a motor vehicle safely on the roadway.

  • Juan Carlos Garcia Osorio, 28, of Malvern - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was .089 percent
  • Matthew Riddlemoser, 23, of Phoenixville – BAC was .106 percent
