Tredyffrin Police Blotter: Thefts, Threats, DUI

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – Tredyffrin Township Police issued their latest crime blotter on Thursday, Sept. 13.

The blotter covers police-handled incidents between Sept. 1 and Sept. 12.

Most notably, police busted five alleged members of the "Felony Lane Gang" on Sept. 1.

THREATS
Sept. 5, Minor Avenue in Paoli – Police were dispatched to the report of a male threatening the residents. Subsequently, Lamont Randell, 36, of Philadelphia, was charged with terroristic threats, aggravated assault and possession of drug paraphernalia.

THEFT FROM AUTO
Sept. 10, Rampart Drive in Chesterbrook – The victim reported blank checks were stolen from her vehicle during the overnight hours.

BIKE THEFT
Sept. 12, Chesterbrook Boulevard – A Chester County Park Ranger bicycle was reported stolen from a storage shed. The bike is described as a new Raleigh M80 Mountain Bike, valued at approximately $700.

The following individuals were arrested for driving under the influence. The lab results and/or chemical breath testing have been officially verified and determined to be unfit to operate a motor vehicle safely on the roadway:

  • James Chin, 47, of Exton - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was .161 percent
  • Anthony Gates, 53, of Norristown – BAC was .176 percent
