Tredyffrin Police Department Members To Be Honored March 20​

Superintendent Anthony Giaimo's retirement and the promotion of two officers will be celebrated at Monday's Board of Supervisors meeting.

With Tredyffrin Township Police Department Superintendent Anthony Giaimo retiring this year and two other TTPD officers being promoted, the public is invited to attend the Monday, March 20 Tredyffrin Township Board of Supervisors meeting where the three men in blue will be honored.

The board will recognize Giamio's retirement, as well as the promotion Ofc. James Slavin and Cpl. Tyler Moyer, at 7 p.m. Monday during the meeting, which will be held in the Tredyffin Township Building, 1100 Duportail Road, Berwyn.

A celebration will be held in the building's Keene Hall in honor of the retirement and promotions.

Slavin is being promoted to the rank or Corporal and Moyer is being promoted to Sergeant.

Giaimo announced his retirement plans on Feb. 1.
