Tredyffrin Township 2021 Election Results: Update

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Votes are being tallied in Pennsylvania's 2021 Municipal General Election. In Chester County on Wednesday morning, just over 29,000 of 40,781 mail-in votes have been counted.
This story will be updated throughout the day. Numbers reported early were from in-person voting results reported by midnight Tuesday. Vote counts added by late Wednesday morning have been added.

Four candidates ran to fill two At Large seats on the Tredyffrin Township Board of Supervisors, and two more competed for one Middle District Supervisor seat.

The four candidates for Tredyffrin Township Supervisor At Large were Democrats Matt Holt and Murph Wysocki and Republicans Sean Sweeney and Jim Zdancewicz.
By late Wednesday morning, as mail-in votes were being counted, Holt was leading with 5,168 votes. Wysocki had 4,929 votes and Sweeney had 4,075. Zdancewicz had 3,871 votes.
At midnight on Tuesday, with 17 of 17 precincts reporting the in-person vote, Sweeney had received 3,645 votes and Zdancewicz had 3,523. Holt garnered 3,271 votes and Wysocki had 3,084.
In the Second (Middle) District, Democrat David Miller ran against Republican Nick Sarracino for a single seat.
By late Wednesday morning, Miller had 1,807 and Sarracino had 1,229 votes.
At 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, with seven of seven precincts reporting in-person votes, Miller then had 1,221 votes and Sarracino had 1,129 votes.
TESD School Directors, 3 Regions
Tredyffrin/Easttown School Director races were contested in all three Regions of the T/E School District.
In Tredyffrin/Easttown School District Region 1, Yolanda Allen, a Democrat, ran against Leslie Elken, a Republican for a single Board Director seat.
Allen had 2,736 votes by late Wednesday morning as mail-in votes were being tallied, and Elken had 2,190.
Early in that race, Allen had garnered 1,786 votes and Elken 1,979 votes, with all precincts reporting just before midnight Tuesday.
In Tredyffrin/Easttown School District Region 2, Democrat Robert Singh and Republican Deana Wang sought the Region 2 Director's seat.
Just before midnight on Tuesday, Wang led with 1,663 votes to Singh's 1,330 with all precincts having reported the in-person vote.
But by late Wednesday morning, Singh led with 2,173 to Wang's 1,897 votes.
In Tredyffrin/Easttown School District Region 3, four candidates ran to fill the two seats in Region 3. MaryAnn Piccioni and Susan Audrain were Democratic candidates. Bill Nolan and Rachel Kill were Republican candidates.
By midnight on Tuesday, Kill had led with 1,743. Nolan had 1,717. Piccioni had 1,427 votes and Audrain had 1,345, with all precincts reporting in-person votes.
By 11 a.m. Wednesday, Piccioni was in front with 2,069 votes, followed by Audrain with 1,958 votes. Kill had at that time 1,879 and Nolan had 1,857 votes.
Also on the ballot in some Township precincts were candidates for Magisterial District Judge in District 15-1-02. Mackenzie Smith challenged Thomas Tartaglio in that contest.
By Wednesday at 11 a.m. Tartaglio was leading with 9,138 votes. Smith had 8,595 votes.
Other precincts choose Magisterial District Judge for District 15-4-01, where the candidates were Lauren Holt and Gene Twardowski.
At 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Holt has 4,760 votes and Twardowski had 3,249 votes.
