Valley Creek Trunk Sewer System Sold To Aqua Resources
Tredyffrin Township authorities OKed the sale to Aqua Resources, Inc., a subsidiary of Aqua American, Inc. to the tune of $28.3 million.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – The Valley Creek Trunk Sewer system has been sold, according to Tredyffrin Township.
Tredyffrin Township and Tredyffrin Township Municipal Authority recently approved the system's sale to Aqua Resources, Inc., a subsidiary of Aqua American, Inc., for $28.3 million.
The system receives untreated wastewater from Easttown, East Whiteland, Willistown and Tredyffrin Townships, Malvern Borough and the Valley Forge Sewer Authority, the township said.

The flow is conveyed to the Valley Forge Treatment Plant, owned by the Valley Forge Sewer Authority.
It consists of 49,000 linear feet of gravity sewers, as well as the Darby Road and Wilson Road pump stations and force mains.

"We are pleased to sell the system to a well-known company such as Aqua Resources, Inc.," Tredyffrin Township Manager William Martin said. "Over the last couple of years they have proven their excellence in the wastewater business. We appreciate their efforts to help resolve a difficult situation. We additionally want to thank all of our partners for their hard work and dedication in getting this deal done. We believe this deal improves all of our communities.”
