• Work begins to rebuild station and track for Pa.'s East Broad Top Railroad (pennlive.com) — A major rail restoration project is bringing a brand-new East Broad Top Railroad station and rebuilt tracks directly to Three Springs, backed by a $1 million state grant and private donations. Work is already underway to clear, grade, and relay track between Three Springs and Saltillo, with leaders saying the expansion could boost tourism and economic activity for the small borough and its neighbors.
