• Tioga hears request for TNVR funds, gets $17K pool grant (tiogapublishing.com) — Tioga Borough council is weighing a budget line to help fund Trap Neuter Vaccine Release services for the borough’s growing feral cat population, after residents and the Tioga County Cat Project pressed for support. The borough also secured nearly $18,000 from the Packer Foundation to buy new safety equipment and upgrades for the Tioga pool, including a vacuum, tester, and pump parts.
   

• STSD prepares for new school year (tiogapublishing.com) — Southern Tioga School District is racing to finish cafeteria construction at North Penn-Mansfield and North Penn-Liberty before classes start, while structural fixes at Warren L. Miller’s loading dock will extend into the school year.
