• Electrical fire in Trainer displaces residents (delcotimes.com) — Several residents were forced from their homes in Trainer Monday night after an exterior electrical panel burned on a Post Road building, cutting power and making the property unsafe to reenter. Firefighters contained the damage, no injuries were reported, and American Red Cross volunteers stepped in with temporary assistance while the fire marshal investigates the cause.

• Victim of Trainer fatal hit-run identified (delcotimes.com) — A man was killed early Monday in a hit-and-run on the 4300 block of West Ninth Street near Parkview Mobile Home Park in Trainer, and investigators are still searching for the driver. The Delaware County Medical Examiner identified the victim as 50-year-old Christopher Owens and ruled his death an accident caused by blunt impact trauma. Trainer police and county investigators have not yet released further details.
