• Tyrone Area School District approves proposed budget with tax increase (altoonamirror.com) — Tyrone Area School District has tentatively approved a 2026-27 budget that raises property taxes while still leaving a deficit to be covered from reserves. Residents in Blair, Centre, and Huntingdon counties will see different millage hikes based on location and homestead status. The final vote is planned for June 9 after a 20-day public review period.
