• UCF hears updates on budget, middle school (chaddsfordlive.com) — Unionville-Chadds Ford School Board advanced a $111 million 2026–27 budget that raises property tax millage for both Chester and Delaware County residents and outlined next steps on replacing C.F. Patton Middle School. Directors also previewed votes on key facility upgrades, including a new art kiln at Unionville High School and safety and infrastructure work at several elementary schools. 
• Softball: West Chester East scores early and often to rout Unionville (dailylocal.com) — Unionville High’s softball team fell 10-0 to West Chester East in the Ches-Mont League championship, but still heads into the District 1 Class 5A playoffs as American Division champs. Coach Amanda Panati says facing a powerhouse like East sharpens Unionville for a potential run to the state tournament starting Monday.
