Boy Scout Troop 542 hosted its 4th annual Trail Run/Walk at Fort Washington State Park. Nearly 100 runners and walkers experienced beautiful fall weather while taking the 5.42 kilometer route along the Green Ribbon Trail. After the run/walk concluded, about 150 people enjoyed a pancake breakfast cooked by Troop 542 Scouts and adult leaders. Lead by Scoutmaster John Schultz, Troop 542 has more than 100 youth members and meets at Supplee Presbyterian Church in Maple Glen.
