Celebrate Spring At Or Hadash - Friday May 3rd

Or Hadash presents a celebration of Springtime

In springtime, there is much to celebrate.  We hear the birds in the trees singing every morning.  We see the buds on the branches of the trees.  The sun is shining and it stays light out longer into the evening.

At Or Hadash, A Reconstructionist Congregation, we have much to celebrate at this time of year as well.  We honor our teachers who have helped our children grow into “upstanders” using the Jewish values they learn to embody.  We honor our graduating seniors who are leaving our community as they enter college, begin jobs, or travel abroad.  We spent time meeting new families who might want to become a part of our warm and friendly community.

On Friday, May 3rd, we are hosting a Lag B’Omer Picnic.  A 6:00 Tot Shabbat will start us off with our youngest Or Hadash members and friends.  Then, the picnic begins at 6:30 with a camp fire, guitar players, a game of ga-ga, delicious food and time to spend with friends.  At 7:30, we will gather together as a community for an intergenerational service.  Please join us!  There is no charge for prospective members.  Come and see who we are and join in the fun.  For more information, please contact Lori Rubin, program coordinator at program@orhadash.com.
