Children get a glimpse of what their parents do at work

Local credit union hosts Bring Your Child to Work Day

FORT WASHINGTON, Pa. — TruMark Financial® Credit Union hosted forty-eight children at its Fort Washington headquarters and branch network to celebrate Take Your Child to Work Day. Upon arrival, children ranging in age from seven to 15 received a photo identification badge, enjoyed breakfast, and received a tour of the building before visiting their parent’s work stations.

The day provides an opportunity for employees to take a few hours out of their busy work schedules to have fun and make lasting memories with their children in the office. Each child learned what their parent’s job entails as well as the importance of working with team members to accomplish different tasks. The group of children had the chance to have lunch together, make new friends, and create a video for social media which communicated the credit union’s branding initiative theme, “Member banking is better banking®.”
