Make-A-Wish Foundation Benefits From Student Challenge!

Twin Spring Farm Students Participate In Coin Challenge for Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Last week, TSF students participated in a Classroom Coin Challenge in order to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Each day of the week students were asked to bring in different coins: pennies on Monday, nickels on Tuesday, dimes on Wednesday, quarters on Thursday and any combination of coins on Friday. Our staff was asked to contribute $2.00 in order to participate in a dress down day on Friday. The response from our school community was overwhleming. The coins were counted on Friday. As a school, we raised $1,183.17. That is an impressive amount for a school of our size. Thank you to Mrs. Seligman, Mr. Rosa and all of the elementary students for coming up with this fund raising idea and organizing it. Thank you to all of the students and staff who contributed to this worthy cause. As a school community, our donation has helped the Make-A-Wish Foundation grant the wishes of children diagnosed with life-threatening conditions in the United States.
