Credit union participates in a successful blood drive

FORT WASHINGTON, Pa. — TruMark Financial^® Credit Union sponsored a blood drive on June 29, to support the American Red Cross. Employees donated 21 pints of blood which has the potential of saving more than 63 lives. The credit union holds three blood drives annually as part of its community outreach program. The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters, supplies about 40 percent of the nation's blood, and teaches skills that save lives. “Our employees realize the importance of saving lives through the gift of a blood donation and are always eager to do their part to help" said JoAnn McCausland, senior vice president, human resources.
