UPPER DUBLIN TOWNSHIP, PA — It wasn't your typical call for a police department, nor the type of rescue that emergency crews handle on a regular basis.

But the Upper Dublin Township Police Department received "a very unusual call" at 2:45 p.m. last Wednesday that a dog had fallen through the floor of an attic.

When police arrived, it had turned out that the dog had fallen through a section of the attic that had no flooring beneath it, thus trapping the dog inside a wall on the second floor of the home.
