Electronic Devices Policy Discussed at School Board Meeting
A change to the Upper Dublin School District electronic devices policy was discussed at the workshop meeting and will be discussed at the full board meeting.

The Upper Dublin School Board is considering a revised electronic devices policy for district students and employees.
The policy allows for electronic devices - such as iPods, iPads, cell phones, netbooks and laptops recording devices and more – during the school day for approved educational uses and in approved locations only. Students are still prohibited to use electronic devices in locker rooms, bathrooms, health suites, and other changing areas.
According to the policy, wireless access will be made available to students and staff. Personal electronic devices will be subject to search “if reasonable suspicion of policy violation occurs.”
