Upper Dublin Township Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor a three-hour introduction to West African drumming, singing and culture, Feb 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Work with a few basic songs and rhythms on native instruments, like drums, bells and rattles. Experience a style of music unlike anything in the Western world.
For ages 12 and up. Especially appropriate for young people with an interest in music and/or dance.
