Honor Roll: Pair of UD Residents Makes Honors at Skidmore College

From Skidmore College:

Alexandra McGlinchy, Class of 2014 at Skidmore College, earned honors for the spring semester. She is the daughter of Charlie and Pat McGlinchy, of Maple Glen.

Kelsey Amentt, Class of 2012 at Skidmore College, earned honors for the spring semester. She is the daughter of Mark and Jill Amentt, of Fort Washington.

Highest honors are awarded for a quality point ratio of 3.670 or more from a possible 4.0. Honors are awarded for a grade point ratio of 3.4 to 3.669.

Skidmore recognizes academic excellence in several ways. In addition to making the Dean's list (for achieving highest honors or honors), a student may be elected to the Periclean Honor Society, Skidmore's own academic honor society, or to the Skidmore chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.

Founded in 1903, Skidmore College is a coeducational, liberal arts college that enrolls approximately 2,400 students. The college grants both the bachelor of arts and the bachelor of science degree, as well as a master's degree in liberal studies.
