Nominees Sought for Voices of Inspiration Award for Teaching Excellence

Nominate an exceptional teacher in your school today

Freedom Credit Union and the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit are looking for nominees for the fifth annual Voices of Inspiration Award for Teaching Excellence. Nominate that exceptional teacher today, and encourage others in your school community to do the same.

The deadline is March 10. When a student's parent, co-worker, administrator or school employee nominates an exceptional teacher for the award, that teacher could win up to $2,000. Twenty-three finalists will receive $500, and three winners will receive $1,500.

The three schools in Montgomery County (one elementary school, one middle school and one high school) with the most nominations will win a cash prize for their school to use for any educational purpose. The school with the most nominations will receive $1,000, while the runners-up will each receive $500.
