Maple Glen resumes after-school activities
Thanks to the efforts of the PTO and principal Timothy Bickhart, after-school activities have resumed at Maple Glen Elementary.
"We've brought after-school activities back to Maple Glen," said Michele Gamburg, co-president of the Maple Glen PTO. "We've had a huge turnout, and people are very excited about having all these different activities available to their kids. It's been a wonderful opportunity for the children."
According to Bickhart, the school now offers between 10 and 15 after-school activities, which include art, chess and karate.
"Every child can continue their day and explore some new topics that they find interesting," said Bickhart.
