Press Release: UDHS to Hold Summer Tours for Public, Alumni

The School District of Upper Dublin will continue its tours of the new Upper Dublin High School on six Tuesdays this summer. Open to members of the community, each 90-minute walking tour will highlight typical subject area classrooms, special use areas in the Academic Wing and Athletic Complex, LEED design, and updates on the final phase of construction.

Tour dates and starting times are June 28 at 5 p.m., July 5 at 1 p.m., July 12 at 8 a.m., July 19 at 5 p.m., July 26 at 1 p.m. and Aug. 2 at 8 a.m. Tour groups will meet in the Athletic Complex Lobby. Access to parking is from Spark Drive.

Each tour group is limited to 25 participants. To register, please contact the superintendent’s executive assistant, Katie Braun, by email at kbraun@udsd.org or by phone at 215-643-8802, and provide your preferred tour date, name, telephone number and number in your party.

The Upper Dublin Education Foundation (UDEF) invites interested UDHS alumni (classes of 1955 to 2010) and their guests to tour the new Upper Dublin High School Thursday, June 9, from 7-9 p.m. Please enter the school using the main entrance on Loch Alsh Avenue across from the township building.

The evening will begin with a brief welcome by UDEF members, followed by one-hour small group tours of the Academic Wing and Athletic Complex, ending with light refreshments.

For planning purposes, preregistration is requested. By June 7, please contact the superintendent’s executive assistant, Katie Braun, by email at kbraun@udsd.org or by phone at 215-643-8802, and provide your name, graduation year, telephone number and the number in your party.
