Summer Reading for Grades K-5

Don't let your child fall behind this summer!

The school year will soon be coming to a close, and students are eager to begin their summer vacation. While summer is a time for children to relax and enjoy some much needed time away from school, it is also a time for parents to prepare their children for next school year.

To help keep your child from falling behind over the summer, encourage your child to read books independently, with a friend, or with an adult during the summer months. You could also check out the summer reading programs available at the Upper Dublin Public Library. Here are a few of my suggestions for summer reading. Enjoy!
