Therapy Dogs Visit Twin Spring Farm Day School

Students in Pre-First through 2nd Grade get a special visit from 2 therapy dogs.

Therapy dogs visited the elementary students at Twin Spring Farm on Thursday. Students in Pre-First through 2nd grade took turns reading to the dogs, in addition to spending time petting the dogs, and learning about them from their owners.

Therapy dogs are well-behaved dogs that enjoy being around people. Their purpose is to bring happiness, comfort, and smiles.

Reading to the dogs provides a benefit to both the students and the dogs. The students spent an hour with the dogs, which provided a nice break from the regular routine of the school day.
