Timoney Knox Sponsors Upper Dublin Coffee with a Cop Program
The Fort Washington-based law firm will expand its community support by sponsoring the popular Coffee with a Cop program.

Fort Washington-based Timoney Knox has been a part of the Ambler, Fort Washington and Upper Dublin communities since the law firm was established in 1921. On Sept. 24, the firm will expand its support by partnering with other members of the Fort Washington Business Alliance and the Upper Dublin Police Department to offer another installment of Coffee with a Cop.
Upper Dublin Police began offering Coffee with a Cop three years ago at local businesses.
“Coffee with a Cop is on a mission to improve trust and build relationships – one cup of coffee at a time,” Upper Dublin Patrolman Robert Taylor said. “Citizens and officers who have participated in these events have been enriched by the opportunity to converse with each other in an open, relaxed and honest forum. Participants often talk, ask questions, and address quality of life issues in an effort to engender mutual respect and understanding to improve the bond between the police and the public.”

George M. Riter, Esquire, Managing Partner of Timoney Knox, said that the firm’s support of Coffee with a Cop is another way to give back to the community.
“We are committed to our local community organizations and the men and women who support us, including the dedicated members of the Upper Dublin Police Department,” Riter said. “Sponsoring Coffee with a Cop has more significance in today's climate as we all need to work together for the benefit of our communities and to support those who serve.”
