UDHS Group Travels to Spain for Cultural Exchange

Fourteen Upper Dublin High School students are participating in a cultural exchange with high school’s Spanish counterpart--- IES Castro Alobre in Vilagarcia, a province of Galicia south of Portugal. The students began the journey Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016.

Participants are lodging with families in Vilagarcia and will attend high school classes and join local students on day trips. In October, IES Castro Alobre students visited UDHS and were hosted by students and their families.

Students are expected to converse in Spanish and will be immersed in Spanish culture. Many are eager to reconnect with the Spanish students who attended Upper Dublin High School in October. This is the third year the District is offering the program.
