UDSD Adult Education Programs Support Lifelong Learning

The Upper Dublin Adult Evening School offers classes in a variety of subjects.

It’s never too late to start learning. School days may be long gone for the adults of Upper Dublin, but that does not mean classes have to end. Registration for the fall 2011 Upper Dublin Adult Evening School has begun.

The Adult Evening School offers classes in arts and crafts, music, cooking, computer tech, dance, recreation, exercise, sports, health, personal growth, languages, finance, business and special interest.

According to Katie Braun, Executive Assistance to the Superintendent, the most popular classes are Italian, power volleyball, zumba, ballroom dancing and computer classes.

The adult evening programs have been in place for over 20 years. There are some new classes for the fall 2011 sessions including guitar methods, beginner knitting and seniors under the stars.
