UDSD Announces Kindergarten Registration Dates

The following information was sent to Upper Dublin Patch by the UDSD, and was posted as a service to our readers.

To schedule an appointment for spring Kindergarten Registration, we ask parents to call your school office. The appointment will be approximately 20 minutes.

During this time, our school secretary and nurse will work with you to complete the registration. It is not necessary for you to bring your child to registration, but you are certainly welcome to do so. The dates for this 2012’s Kindergarten Registration are listed below:

• Tuesday, April 10th
• Thursday, April 19th
• Thursday, April 26th
• Monday, April 30th
• Tuesday, May 8th

After this date, please call central registration at 215-643-8971 T-F 8 am – 3 pm

School Office numbers are as follows:

• Fort Washington - 215-643-8961

• Maple Glen - 215-643-3421
• Thomas Fitzwater – 215-784-0381

Documents Necessary for Registration:

• Proof of Residency – copy of settlement paper, deed, rental lease
• Proof of Birth – birth certificate, baptismal certificate, passport
• Immunization records
• I.D. – parent/guardian driver’s license, passport, employee badge with signature

Kindergarten Visitation in the Schools:

You are cordially invited to attend a parent Kindergarten Visitation on February 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in our school. You will hear information regarding our full-day Kindergarten Program and have the opportunity to visit a Kindergarten classroom. The Kindergarten Visitation Day is only for parents; a special Kindergarten Orientation Day for children will be scheduled later in the year. Orientation activities and screening of kindergarten students occurs in late August or early September.
