Upper Dublin Author to Launch New Book in Chestnut Hill

Upper Dublin is adding another chapter to its literary history, as resident Elise Seyfried is set to launch her new book Underway: Reflections on Everyday Grace on December 11 at the in Chestnut Hill.

"Like her previous book Unhaling: On God, Grace and a Perfectly Imperfect Life, Underway is a collection of essays, humorous but with a spiritual focus," reads a press release sent to Patch. "These are snapshots of Elise’s hectic, very full life as a writer, church worker and mother of five."

Elise is also the Director of Spiritual Formation at Christ's Luthern Church in Oreland, according to the press release. Her writing has also appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Metropolis, Guideposts, and other periodicals.

The free event is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., and will include refreshments and a book signing, the release says.
