​Upper Dublin HS Students Continue Their Success in Latin Competitions

Forty UDHS students earned awards this year on the challenging 2017 National Latin Exam.

The exam evaluates Latin Grammar, Vocabulary, Mythology, Culture, Geography and History skills and knowledge. UDHS students were awarded nine gold and twelve silver medalists. Amanda Yang, Felix Li, Natalie David, and Eric Hu have earned four consecutive gold medals and will be awarded an Oxford Classical Dictionary for this outstanding achievement.

UDHS students also turned in stellar performances in the recent Philadelphia Classics Society Competition, which includes Artistic and Literary components, several UDHS students were awarded first place for their artwork or writing. First place award recipients which were also awarded Best Of Show for their superior display of craftsmanship are Megan O’Halloran, Allison Chang, Taylor Kang, Connie Liu, Natalie David, Ashley Kunkel, Amanda Yang and Nina Cheng.
