Painkillers stolen from agency facility in Weisenberg
Sixty Vicodin pills taken from locked area last week, state police say.

A thief or thieves last week stole 60 pills of the painkiller Vicodin from a locked box at the Weisenberg Township facility of an agency that serves adults with special needs, police say.
A state police fax said the incident occurred between 8pm Nov. 11 and 2pm Nov. 13 at Person Directed Supports, 3476 Golden Key Road (Route 863.)
The fax said the Vicodin was in a blister pack inside a medical box that was kept in a locked staff locker. The locker was inside the staff office.
Once the pills were removed, the medical box was placed back into the staff locker that was then relocked. Whoever took the pills then fled in an unknown direction, the fax said.
Person Directed Supports operates group homes, according to its website, which also lists offices in Upper Macungie Township, Lancaster and Chambersburg (Franklin County).
