The Parkland Trojans (11-1) defeated the Whitehall Zephyrs for the second time this season by a score of 27-10.
The scoring was low for the first quarter and most of the second, as the teams traded field goals. However, with under a minute to play in the first half, quarterback DeVante Cross found Eli Redmond for a 32-yard touchdown strike. This put the Trojans up 10-3 at halftime.
After halftime, Parkland marched down the field, and a field goal put them up by 10.
Kareem Williams, who rushed for over 200 yards in the game, scored a touchdown at the end of the third quarter. He added a second rushing score after the Zephyrs had cut the lead to 10 points, with under 4 minutes to play in the game.
Parkland will try to avenge its only loss of this season against Easton. In September, the Red Rovers defeated the Trojans 24-0.
